Where to for the arts and humanities?
How can arts and culture survive, and thrive, in the twenty-first century? CEO of A New Approach (ANA), Kate Fielding, recently joined a panel discussion exploring this question. On the panel, Kate spoke about the central place of arts and culture in a flourishing contemporary democracy.
Kate was joined on the panel by policy director Dr Kylie Brass, academic researcher Professor Duncan Ivison, editor Jason Steger, journalist Maggie Raworth, and academic researcher Professor Joy Damousi. The full discussion was broadcast on Radio National’s Big Ideas program.
